Arteta wants Ceballos stay & says Arsenal swap deals possible amid links to Atletico Madrid's Partey

Oct 19, 2021
The midfielder - on loan at the Emirates from Real Madrid - has impressed in recent weeks alongside Granit Xhaka in midfield

Mikel Arteta said he would be willing to keep Dani Ceballos in Arsenal, but said the situation was not in the hands of the gunman.

The Spanish international was loaned from Real Madrid last summer and will return to the Spanish capital at the end of the season.

Arsenal did not choose to perpetuate their actions. People have always expected Ceballos to spend only one season in the Premier League before returning to his homeland.

However, if another agreement can be reached with Madrid, Arteta now offers the prospect of bringing the midfielder back to the UAE when the loan expires.

Arsenal's head coach said: "We are talking to the club." "Obviously we don't have a player, he is not in our hands, so the club needs to communicate to see what we can do."

Since Arteta's eleventh competition since his arrival in December, he has fought for his position.

In the last eight games of the Premier League, he has started seven games and has established an encouraging partnership with Granit Xhaka in the centre of the midfield.

"I am really happy with him," Arteta said before his home game against Leicester on Tuesday night. "The way he grew up and how much I like how he likes to play football-he is passionate in every training session and every game, you just have to take a look at his celebration.

"Whether he is on the court or on the bench, how he celebrates (indicates) how much he has invested. Once again, I am very satisfied with him, I think he is developing in the right way, he is becoming our true Important participant."

At the same time, Arteta said that in the upcoming transfer window, Arsenal will "open up" the opportunity to exchange potential players to fight for key goals. #aclotzone

Due to the continued popularity of coronavirus and another season outside of the Champions League, where funds are expected to be limited, Arteta realizes that transfer funds will be tight.
