Arthur and Miralem Pjanic have signed with Juventus and Barcelona, respectively. The two teams will officially announce news about the midfield on Monday.

The two clubs reached an agreement earlier this week that Arthur will leave Camp Nou for Turin at a price of about 70 million euros (£63 million / $79 million), while Panjanik will be at 60 million euros (55 million) GBP/67 million) departure fee in the opposite direction.

Both players underwent medical treatment in their new clubs on Sunday afternoon, and then recorded their pens on the contract.

Arthur has signed a five-year contract with Maurizio Sarri’s team, which will bring him a basic salary of 5 million euros per season and a maximum bonus of 7 million euros ( £6 million/US$8 million).

Although both players will remain in the current club for the remainder of the extended 2019-20 season, Barcelona hopes to complete the transaction by the end of June for budgetary reasons.

Given the financial uncertainty caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Juve will have difficulty making expensive transfers, so a swap agreement needs to be reached, which includes one of its high-income earners moving in the opposite direction.

The Catalan giant has been targeting Pjanic, but because Arthur was initially reluctant to move to Italy, the deal was shelved.

However, a breakthrough was reached on Saturday night, allowing the club to reach a double agreement.

Since joining Gremio in the summer of 2018, Arthur has played 72 times in Barcelona. The Catalan giants regard the midfield as an important part of their first team, but the target team revealed last month that they will open the sale of this 23-year-old team when the appropriate offer arrives, the old one.

At the same time, Pajanik has been a frequent visitor to Juventus' lineup. The Turin Giants have played 36 times in all competitions this season and they have won the Serie A title for the ninth consecutive time.

They are currently at the top of the list, 4 points higher than Lazio, with 10 games left. #aclotzone

Since joining Serie A rival Roma in 2016, the Bosnia and Herzegovina international has twice won three league titles and the Italian Cup with Bianconeri.
