Oct 19, 2021
The former Arsenal boss doesn't believe the Catalans need more fire power but can't see them resisting the temptation to add to their stocks

Arsene Wenger firmly believes that Barcelona will sign another striker, although he expects Antoine Griezmann to improve.

Since he joined Griezmann from Atletico Madrid for 120 million euros ($135 million), Griezmann has struggled to reach its peak in his first season in Barcelona, scoring 14 goals in 37 games.

Barcelona is closely related to the move of international star Lautaro Martinez, who is considered to be a long-term replacement for Luis Suarez.

Former Arsenal head coach Wenger believes Griezmann will improve, but he thinks Barcelona will add another point after the end of the season.

He told beIN SPORTS: "Barcelona has always been the best player. Personally, I am not sure if Suarez needs to be replaced."

"They can add another striker because Suarez and [Messi] are indeed the main contributors and they may need other people who can score.
"I still think Griezmann will start scoring at a certain stage. He doesn't seem to be fully adapted. Maybe now after the penalty zone, he will be refreshed because he is also an excellent shooter.

"But I firmly believe that they will also buy another striker."

Although Messi scored 24 goals this season, Suarez Griezmann contributed 14 goals, although he played 14 fewer games.

Barcelona led by two points in La Liga and resumed their battle to Mallorca on Saturday.

Martin Braithwaite (Martin Braithwaite) is a Catalans offensive team recently joined the Danish striker has contacted the club in February.

Although he has yet to score a goal and hopes to further limit his playing time before La Liga returns, Brathwaite is happy to learn from Suarez and train in clubs like Barcelona.#aclotzone

He told Guy: "I am very happy that Louis is back, because when I came here, he was injured and I did not play with him." "I want to learn from him, he is one of the best strikers in the world One, I am very happy that he is back.

"This training is completely different from what I have experienced before, so I can feel that I am developing a lot on the technical level. As a person, I can feel that I am getting more attention in a large club like this, But you must learn to live with all this attention."
