Navas must be classified as a Real Madrid legend – Morientes

Oct 19, 2021
Fernando Morientes believes that Keylor Navas should be recognized as a legend of Real Madrid.
Navas, 33, spent five seasons in Madrid, winning the La Liga title and three Champions League and many other honors before joining Paris Saint-Germain last year.

Madrid’s great Morientes believes that the goalkeeper should be regarded as one of the best clubs in La Liga.

"Finally, for example, at Real Madrid, I tell you that he is a legend," the striker told ESPN.

"There is no doubt that players like him who have spent great time in Madrid must be classified as legends."

Navas came to Madrid from Levante in 2014 and established his club's number one ranking after Iker Casillas left the following year.

Morientes said that Navas' growth in Madrid is very huge. In the three finals of the Champions League from 2016 to 2018, the shooter won.

He said: "Like Iker Casillas, Keylor Navas has become a substitute for a great goalkeeper in our history."

"He won the respect of the entire public little by little, but he was also decisive at an important moment in Bernabeu's history."

Navas (Navas) now plays for PSG after moving to France in 2019. He successfully supported his current club for the UEFA Champions League this season.

Navas said on the official website of PSG: "I know (the UEFA Champions League) is difficult, but it is not impossible. So we are ready to participate in this game."

"I know my teammates are very motivated. They work a lot at home because they all know the importance of this game to teams, clubs and supporters. We know our responsibilities.

"We will take a moment to speed up the pace because we are all in good health."

Thomas Tuchel's team won the seat in the Champions League quarter-finals in March after defeating Borussia Dortmund 3-2 in March.

After the game is suspended after the coronavirus pandemic, the remaining games are expected to be completed in August, as domestic leagues across Europe hope to complete their respective seasons by the end of July#aclotzone
