Arsenal exploring multiple ways to bring 'virtual' fans inside Emirates Stadium for Premier League r

The Gunners are looking into ways that they can engage with their supporters with behind-closed-doors games due to take place from June 17

Once the Premier League is closed, Arsenal are looking for "multiple" options, they explore ways to bring fans to the Emirates Stadium to play.

Mikel Arteta team will restart the league game on June 17th, against defending champion Manchester City.

The Premier League has not officially announced the schedule after the Etihad Stadium game, but Arsenal have four home games against Norwich, Leicester, Liverpool and Watford.

Before the game, although the game will be held behind closed doors due to the corona virus pandemic, the level of the North London club is discussing how to keep its fans engaged.

Various options are being discussed, one of which is to bring fans who are watching the game live to a large screen on the ground through Zoom.

The Danish Aarhus used this option in the Superliga game against Randers. Fans were displayed on the screens around the stadium, and their shouts were broadcast through the public address system.

Arsenal insisted that they did not talk directly to Aarhus about their experience as suggested, but admitted that they were looking for different options to allow their supporters to remain involved on match day.

A spokesperson said: "We are exploring multiple ways to bring fans into the stadium'virtually'."

In a recent survey, Arsenal Supporters' Trust asked its members how the Premier League club should identify fans in closed-door games. The most popular option is to cover up empty seats with banners and signs.

Based on the average score of all responses, this option scored 65 out of 100, with online fan Hangouts ranking second with a score of 51/100. The option for fans to watch the game through Zoom on the big screen around the stadium ranked third in the vote with a score of 46/100.

The least popular option (with a score of only 24/100) is to use computer-generated fans for the venue.

Interestingly, when asked what they want to hear during TV broadcasts, the overwhelming favorite is the actual sound of the game (68%), not the increased crowd noise (32%).

At the same time, Arsenal hope to hold at least two closed-door friendly matches before the game in Manchester City on June 17. The Premier League has allowed clubs to play friendly matches before starting the game again, but it must follow strict guidelines.#aclotzone

The team's playing time must not exceed 90 minutes, players must participate in the game in their own way, rather than traveling with the team coach. West Ham is considered to be a team Arsenal may meet in the next two weeks.
